Partnership with Fareway
Memorial Day marks the start of summertime and that means summertime BBQs! I hosted
some friends for a fun dinner outside and tried some new delicious recipes from Fareway that were crowd pleasers. I headed to my closest Fareway to get all the farm fresh produce, fresh meat from their market and ingredients. I love the variety at Fareway and I always love seeing a friendly employee face. Let’s dive into the recipes that I used for my BBQ!
Pineapple Salsa:
This Pineapple Salsa recipe was so delicious, I could have eaten it all as my main course! This
appetizer was a total hit. It’s fresh, and fruity with a little bit of a jalapeño kick. I served this with a bag of tortilla chips that I grabbed from Fareway.
Sweet and Tangy Kale Salad:
I love a berry salad and this Sweet and Tangy Kale Salad recipe was perfect for a refreshing
side. I also love that it is super nutrient-dense and the dressing felt super light.
Jackie’s Lemon Poppyseed Pasta Salad:
Is it even a BBQ without a pasta salad? I loved that this summery pasta salad had some subtly sweet flavors and the recipe called for in season summer veggies. It was also nice to have a gluten free option for some of my friends.
BBQ Beef Sliders:
These BBQ Beef Sliders are so delicious! I loved the warm beef and the crunchy coleslaw
together. It was a fun change up from classic burgers and hot dogs (which are also delicious!). Everyone went back for seconds with these.
Cucumber and Mint Cooler:
This was such a refreshing drink for everyone! It was the perfect hot summer day drink that
was so easy to make and tastes amazing.
Now that summer is here it’s time to get outside to enjoy good weather and good food with
friends. Let me know which recipe is your favorite!
